    The week of Aug. 7-13, Belle Plaine police responded to the following selected calls:

    Monday, Aug. 7
    An officer checked on a vehicle parked at a park on the 500 block of East Orchard Street at 9:45 a.m. The driver of the vehicle was the subject of an arrest warrant. He was taken into custody.
    Tuesday, Aug. 8
    A person on the 200 block of East Main Street called for medical help at 1:48 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Police responded at 2:26 p.m. to a report of a strong natural gas smell at an apartment building on the 200 block of West State Street. Firefighters took over the call.
    A person on the 500 block of East Beaver Street reported at 3:13 p.m. the theft of a dog. The suspects were located, the dog returned home and four men were cited for theft.
    A person on the 800 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 3:40 p.m. A woman was found deceased, apparently of natural causes.
    A person on the 800 block of Prairie Oak Drive reported at 5:19 p.m. someone was threatened. Police investigated. A woman, once located, will be cited for terroristic threats.
    A person on the 800 block of South Walnut Street called for medical help at 8:27 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 300 block of North Cedar Street reported at 10:26 p.m. a disturbance involving an unwanted guest. A man and woman were cited for underage consumption.
    Thursday, Aug. 10
    A person on the 600 block of Butler Drive called for medical help at 1:34 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A vehicle was stopped at 3:08 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 25 and County Road 40. The driver was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant. He was taken into custody.
    Friday, Aug. 11
    Police checked a vehicle on the side of the road near the intersection of Highway 169 and South Meridian Street at 1:40 a.m. The driver, a 22-year-old Mankato man, was cited for driving with a suspended license.
    A citation was issued at 2:50 a.m. to a vehicle parked on the 100 block of North Meridian Street during street cleaning. The vehicle was towed.
    A person on the 300 block of East Enterprise Drive called for medical help at 3:22 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    At 2:13 p.m., a person on the block of West State Street called for medical help. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A property-damage crash at the intersection atop the ramp from Highway 169 and East Main Street was reported at 5:52 p.m. A Belle Plaine girl, 16, was cited for failure to yield.
    A person on the 200 block of Meridian Street North called for medical help at 8:26 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Saturday, Aug. 12
    A person on the 600 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 11:46 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 100 block of North Aspen Lane reported the theft of cash from an unlocked, idling vehicle. Police are investigating.
    A woman on the 300 block of South Walnut Street reported at 7:38 p.m. she’d been assaulted. Police are investigating.
    A person on the 700 block of West Forest Street called for medical help at 11:48 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Sunday, Aug. 13
    A person on the 600 block of Butler Drive called for medical help at 12:23 a.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A vehicle was stopped at 1:15 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 169 and South Meridian Street for speeding. An Edina man, 20, was also cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana.
    A person on the 600 block of West Church Street called for medical help at 1:37 p.m A woman was transported to an area hospital.

    The week of Aug. 7-13,  Belle Plaine firefighters responded to the following calls for service:

    Tuesday, Aug. 8
    Firefighters were dispatched at 2:40 p.m. to the the 200 block of West State Street for a gas leak. Investigation did not identify a gas leak.
    At 3:40 p.m., firefighters responded to a call for medical help on the 800 block of West Main Street. There  was no transport.
    Thursday, Aug. 10
    Firefighters were dispatched at 10 a.m. to the 800 block of Commerce Drive for a fire alarm. They were canceled en route.
    At 2 p.m., firefighters responded to a single-car rollover crash near the intersection of  Meridian Circle and Pony Road  in Belle Plaine Township. The victim suffered minor injuries.
    Firefighters responded at 5 p.m. to a call from a person on South Market Street. The alarm was caused by a  faulty light fixture.
    At 5:10 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to the 16000 block of Elm Way in Blakeley Township for a medical. There was  no patient transported.
    Friday, Aug. 11
    Firefighters were dispatched at 6:20 p.m. to wash down the scene of a two-vehicle property-damage crash at the intersection of Main and Johnson Memorial Drive.

    The week of July 31- Aug. 6,  Belle Plaine firefighters responded to the following calls for service:

    Tuesday, Aug. 1
    Firefighters were dispatched at midnight to the 300 block of South Willow Street for a smoke alarm. They determined the smoke alarm was faulty.
    At 2:20 p.m., firefighters responded to a single-vehicle crash on the 25700 block of Highway 169 in Blakeley Township. The lone occupant of the vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

    The week of July 31- Aug. 6, Belle Plaine police responded to the following selected calls:

    Monday, July 31
    A person on the 700 block of West Court Street called for medical help at 2:05 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    At 3:52 p.m., several people came to the police department to report thefts by a known suspect. Police are investigating.
    An officer took a property damage report at 4:16 p.m. from the owner of a vacant building.
    A woman on the 200 block of South Cedar Street reported at 4:42 p.m. someone went through her unlocked vehicle. Several items were stolen.
    A person on the 200 block of East Commerce Drive called for medical help at 9:23 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Tuesday, Aug. 1
    A Henderson man, 18, was stopped near the intersection of East Main and North Meridian streets at 2 a.m. for an equipment violation. He was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and did not have possession of a license or proof of insurance. The man was cited for all the offenses.
    A woman on the 200 block of East Evergreen Street reported at 8:29 a.m. the theft of a cell phone from an unlocked vehicle.
    A person on the 200 block of North Meridian Street reported someone had placed their garbage in a privately-owned dumpster. Paperwork identifying the suspect was located and the garbage was removed and disposed of properly.
    A Belle Plaine man, 20, was stopped at 12:41 p.m. near the intersection of Beaver and Forest streets. He was cited for driving without a proper registration or insurance.
    A person on the 200 block of West State Street called for medical help at 1:24 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 200 block of East Commerce Drive found drug paraphernalia and asked police at 6 p.m. to destroy it.
    Wednesday, Aug. 2
    A person on the 400 block of North Meridian Street reported at 7:36 a.m. property damage. Someone slashed tires on two vehicles and a trailer. Police are investigating.
    A person on the 1000 block of East Enterprise Drive reported at 2:48 p.m. a violation of a court-issued restraining order.  After investigation, a Belle Plaine woman, 33, was arrested.
    The driver of a vehicle stopped near the intersection of Meridian Street South and Highway 169 at 8:41 p.m. was cited for careless driving, driving after license revocation, speeding, and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
    Thursday, Aug. 3
    At 1:57 a.m., police assisted two inebriated persons near the intersection of East Prairie and South Linden streets walk to a friend’s house.
    A person on the 800 block of South Chestnut Street called for medical help at 7:21 a.m. The crew determined the woman did not need transport to an area hospital. Family members would watch her until she was better.
    A 36-year-old Chanhassen man stopped because of an inoperable headlight at 10:09 p.m. near the intersection of East Church and North Walnut streets was cited for driving with a suspended license.
    An officer checked a vehicle parked in a lot near the intersection of East Enterprise Drive and Laredo Street at 12:20 a.m. with one working headlight and cited the driver for a curfew violation.
    Friday, Aug. 4
    Police stopped a vehicle near the intersection of South Meridian Street and Highway 169 at 10:48 a.m.. after the driver drove through a stop sign. The driver, a 28-year-Cologne man, was arrested for fourth-degree DWI, fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, and carrying a loaded weapon while under the influence.
    A vehicle driven by a 44-year-old Henderson man was  stopped at 5:21 p.m. for not moving over into the open lane when passing a police officer who had pulled over another vehicle near the intersection off Highway 169 and Blakeley Trail. The driver of the second vehicle was cited for the offense.
     A person on the 500 block of Oak Village Court called for medical help at 7:05 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Police stopped a vehicle on Highway 169 near Jim’s Apple Barn at 10:20 p.m. for several moving violations. The driver, a 68-year-old Ohio man, was arrested for third-degree DWI and open bottle.
    Saturday, Aug. 5
    A police officer checked on a vehicle in a parking lot near the intersection of Highway 169 and East Park Street at 11:45 a.m. A Belle Plaine boy, 17, was found in possession of alcohol and a small amount of marijuana.
    A 67-year-old Apple Valley man was stopped and cited at 11:47 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 169 and County Road 66 for not moving into an open lane while passing an officer conducting a traffic stop.
    Sunday, Aug. 6
    A woman on the sidewalk near the intersection of North Meridian and East Main streets drinking a beer at 12:25 a.m. was cited for drinking in public places.
    A man and woman on the 100 block of North Meridian Street at 1:50 a.m. with drinks were cited for drinking in a public place.
    A person on the 200 block of South Ash Street called for medical help at 5:41 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    At 9:56 p.m., a person on the 1000 block of East Enterprise Drive called for medical help. A woman was transported to an area hospital.

    Monday, July 17
    A 20-year-old Belle Plaine man was drinking in Union Square Park near the beer garden at 12:41 a.m. He was cited for underage consumption.
    A woman from Lonsdale, 19, in the beer garden at Union Square Park was cited for underage consumption.
    Police assisted two inebriated men – one at a business on the 100 block of North Aspen Lane at 6:03 a.m. and the other passed out in the tunnel under Highway 169 at 6:27 a.m. – find rides home.
    A woman on the 100 block of North Meridian Street reported at 7:32 a.m. someone smashed one of her vehicle’s windows. Nothing in the vehicle was taken. Police are investigating.
    A man on the 400 block of West Main Street was arrested for fifth-degree assault and terroristic threats at 12:27 p.m. after he reportedly threw garbage on his neighbor’s lawn.
    A person stopped at the police department at 12:34 p.m. to report someone stole his scooter from Union Square Park. The scooter is reportedly worth $600.
    A person on the 600 block of West Forest Street called for medical help at 4:23 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 200 block of South Ash Street called for medical help at 5:18 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Tuesday, July 18
    A Belle Plaine man, 35, was stopped near the intersection of Orchard and Chestnut streets at 7:42 a.m. The man was cited for excessive window tint and driving without a seatbelt on.
    A person on the 200 block of West Main Street reported at 11:22 a.m. the theft of a bank debit card. It was missing during Bar-B-Q Days and was used by a suspect at a local store. Police are investigating.
    A person on the 600 block of West Forest Street called for medical help at 9:24 p.m. The ambulance crew checked the victim and determined no transport was needed.
    Wednesday, July 19
    A person on the 100 block of South Meridian Street called at 12:52 a.m. for medical help. No transport was needed.
    Police assisted Meeker County law enforcement at 2:42 p.m. with a report of a stolen ATV. It was found in Belle Plaine and returned to Meeker County.
    A man on the 200 block of South Eagle Street reported at 2:02 p.m. the theft of his scooter Sunday, July 16, at the Bar-B-Q Days fireworks.
    A Belle Plaine man, 27, and woman, 24, were cited for trespassing on land after a person on the 200 block of West Beaver Street called police at 2:15 p.m.
    A person on the 300 block of East Main Street called for medical help 9:52 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Thursday, July 20
    Three men were stopped on the 1100 block of West Commerce Drive at 2:26 a.m. One man, 18, was cited for a curfew violation. A 20-year-old was cited for driving a motorcycle without an endorsement and with an expired registration. The third man was cited for riding a motorcycle without an endorsement.
    A Jordan man, 35, stopped near the intersection of Hickory Boulevard and East Main Street at 6:52 p.m. was cited for open bottle and speeding.
    A person on the 500 block of East Beaver Street reported at 9:10 p.m. a theft. Police are determining if the issue is a civil or criminal matter.
    Friday, July 21
    A vehicle parked on the 100 block of West Main Street was cited and towed for illegal parking during street cleaning.
    A woman on the 200 block of West State Street reported at 5:29 a.m. someone damaged her car while parked overnight.
    A person on the 700 block of West Forest Street called for medical help at 6:31 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Saturday, July 22
    A person on the 200 block of South Elm Street called for medical help at 8:32 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Sunday, July 23
    A person on the 400 block of East Forest Street called at 9:30 p.m. for medical help. A man was transported to an area hospital.

    Monday, July 10
    A man on the 600 block of West Main Street reported at 10:39 a.m. a possible theft. He told police he was uncertain if the property was stolen or misplaced.
    During a special enforcement detail, a Belle Plaine police officer stopped a New Prague woman at 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of highways 169 and 41 for failure to move to the other lane for a police officer who had stopped a vehicle on the highway’s shoulder.
    A woman on the 900 block of Meadow Place reported at 3:21 p.m. a case of credit card fraud. The person’s card was reportedly compromised online. She is working with the credit card company to get her money back.
    A person on the 200 block of Eagle Street called for medical help at 9:10 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Tuesday, June 11
    A person on the 100 block of West Main Street reported at 6:52 p.m. the theft of tools from a house. Police are investigating.
    Wednesday, June 12
    A Belle Plaine man, 44, was seen driving without a seatbelt on. An officer stopped him near the intersection of North Walnut and East Court streets at 10 a.m. The driver was also cited for driving without a valid license.
    A Lake Crystal woman, 43, was pulled over near the intersection of Highway 169 and Meridian Street at 6:43 p.m. for not pulling into an open space in the outside lane when passing a police officer on the shoulder of the highway. She was cited for the offense.
    Thursday, July 13
    A man from Iowa, 18, was stopped near the intersection of Highway 169 and Old Highway 169 Boulevard at 12:20 a.m. He was cited for speeding, driving without a license and not wearing a seatbelt.
    A Belle Plaine man, 19, riding a dirt bike on public and private property, was pulled over near the intersection of Old Highway 169 Boulevard and East State Street at 12:01 p.m. He was cited for trespassing and driving with a suspended license.
    At the request of his probation agent, a man on the 200 block of South Walnut Street was taken into custody at 2:24 p.m. on a felony arrest warrant.
    A person on the 200 block of South Ash Street called for medical help at 5:11 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A Belle Plaine woman, 21, was stopped at 9:20 p.m. near the intersection of South Meridian and Raven streets and cited for texting while driving.
    Friday, July 14
    Police assisted sheriff’s deputies with a call for medical help at 10:03 a.m. from a person near the intersection of Highway 169 and Old Highway 169 Boulevard. A  man was transported to an area hospital.
    A woman from Green Isle, 19, was cited at 11:28 p.m., for underage consumption in the beer garden at Union Square Park.
    An inebriated Le Sueur man, 27, at Union Square Park, was cited at 11:50 p.m. for being a public nuisance after an officer witnessed him urinating in public.
    Saturday, July 15
    A person on the 800 block of East Forest Street called for medical help at 12:01 a.m. A girl was transported to an area hospital. Another girl at the scene was cited for underage consumption.
    A girl at Union Square Park in the beer garden was cited at 12:35 a.m. for underage consumption.
    A person on the 200 block of West State Street reported at 6:25 a.m. an inebriated woman sleeping behind her home. Police assisted the woman with getting a ride set up and dropped her off at a local business.
    Police assisted an inebriated man asleep in a blanket near the intersection of Main and Meridian streets at 7:41 a.m. The man realized he’d lost his wallet. He declined a ride to search for his wallet.
    A person on the 400 block of West South Street called at 9:24 a.m. for medical help. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 600 block of West Forest Street called for medical help at 6:50 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 800 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 9:19 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A man in the beer garden at Union Square Park was cited at 10:39 p.m. for underage consumption.
    A woman in the beer garden at Union Square Park was cited at 10:40 p.m. for underage consumption.
    A Montgomery man, 24, relieving himself on the 200 block of South Market Street,  was cited at 11:48 p.m. for being a public nuisance.
    A woman from Chaska, 18, in the beer garden at Union Square Park, was cited for underage consumption at 11:50 p.m.
    Sunday, July 16
    A boy in Union Square Park was cited at 12:08 a.m. for a curfew violation.
    A group of four people in the beer garden at Union Square Park were cited at 12:25 a.m. for underage consumption.
    A Willmar man, 22, was seen walking on the street at 12:41 a.m. He threw the beer can on the ground as the officer approached. The man was cited for public consumption on the street and littering.
    A man relieving himself on a wall on the 100 block of North Meridian Street at 2:17 a.m. was cited for being a public nuisance.
    After police were dispatched to a domestic dispute on the 500 block of East Beaver Street, a Belle Plaine man, 21, was jailed for domestic assault and obstruction.
    A person on the 100 block of North Meridian Street reported at 10:36 a.m. someone had slashed the tires on their vehicle.
    A Minneapolis man, 23, stopped at 6:01 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 169 and South Meridian Street was smoking marijuana while driving. He was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and driving after license revocation.
    A person at Union Square Park called for medical help at 6:38 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Two women in Union Square Park were cited at 11:51 p.m. for underage consumption.

    Monday, June 16
    A person on the 200 block of East Church Street reported at 10:59 a.m. a case of vandalism. Someone climbed on the church’s roof and spray-painted on a portion of it. Police are investigating.
    A person on the 100 block of West Church Street reported at 3:22 p.m. a case of vandalism. Someone climbed atop the roof and spray-painted on the roof.  Police are investigating.
    A person on the 100 block of North Willow Street reported at 3:44 p.m. a case of vandalism. Someone climbed atop a building and spray-painted a portion of the roof. Police are investigating.
    Tuesday, June 28
    A person on the 800 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 8:16 a.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 1000 block of East Enterprise Drive reported at 3:32 p.m. a woman violating a court-issued restraining order. A Belle Plaine woman, 33, was taken into custody.
    A person on the 800 block of Meadow Circle called for medical help at 6:51 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Wednesday, June 28
    A person on the 200 block of East Commerce Drive called at 6:58 a.m. for medical help. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 300 block of East State Street called for medical help at 8:32 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Police stopped a vehicle at 10:05 p.m. on Highway 169. The driver of the vehicle, a Mankato woman, 23, was reportedly driving 105 mph in a 65 mph zone. She was also inebriated. The woman was cited for driving at a dangerous speed and arrested for fourth-degree DWI.
    Thursday, June 29
    A person on the 100 block of South Ash Street reported at 8:41 p.m. children riding ATVs on private property. A boy was cited for exhibition driving and driving an ATV on a city street.
    A person on the 800 block of West Prairie Street called at 4:44 p.m. for medical help. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A Belle Plaine woman, 23, was stopped at 5:54 p.m. on the 1000 block of East Enterprise Drive. She was cited for driving after license revocation.
    Friday, June 30
    Police stopped a vehicle at 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 169 and Old Highway 169 Boulevard. The vehicle had one headlight out. The driver, a 20-year-old South Dakota woman, admitted she was texting while driving. The woman was cited for the offense.
    Police checked at 12:43 a.m. on a vehicle parked on the 400 block of North Court Street. The two children in the vehicle were cited for curfew violations.
    A citation was issued at 3:03 a.m. to a vehicle parked near the intersection of North Willow and West Main streets during street cleaning. Police ordered the vehicle towed.
    At 1:50 p.m., a person on the 100 block of South Chestnut Street called for medical help. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Saturday, July 1
    Three women on the sidewalk outside an establishment on the 100 block of North Meridian Street at 5:29 p.m. were cited for having liquor in a public place.
    A person at an establishment on the 100 block of North Meridian Street reported at 6:10 p.m. a belligerent man pushing people and refusing to leave. A Belle Plaine man, 33, was jailed on two counts of fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
    Sunday, July 2
    A person reported at 9:59 a.m. a flagpole at Veterans Memorial Park on the 100 block of East Commerce Drive had been cut down. Belle Plaine Public Works staff will make repairs. Police are investigating.
    A person on the 900 block of Cobblestone Court called for medical help at 1:29 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 200 block of South Ash Street called for medical help. A man was transported to an area hospital.

    An officer checked a home on the 1000 block of Creekview Lane at 4:38 p.m. after a burglar alarm was tripped. False alarm.
    Police stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation at 6:10 p.m. near the intersection of South Elk and West Main streets. The officer detected the odor of marijuana. A Belle Plaine man, 18, was cited for no proof of insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
    A person on the 300 block of East Church Street called for medical help at 6:42 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Tuesday, June 20
    An officer found at 10:46 p.m. the lock on the restroom at a park on the 200 block of South Eagle Street had been smashed. Police are investigating.
    Wednesday, June 21
    Two children found walking along the 200 block of South Ash Street at 2:08 a.m. were cited for a curfew violation and taken home.
    A person on the 400 block of West South Street called for medical help at 9:28 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Police stopped two children near the intersection of North Meridian and Church streets at 11:16 p.m. The officer notified the children’s parents of the city’s curfew ordinance and gave them a ride home.
    Thursday, June 22
    A vehicle was stopped at 12:19 a.m. near the intersection of East Main Street and Aspen Lane. The car had three children in it. They were cited for curfew violations and their parents notified.
    A person came to the police department at 9:52 a.m. to report someone scratched a letter into his car’s paint. The incident occurred over a month ago.
    A person on the 100 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 1:15 p.m. A man was on the ground on the grass near the library. He was transported to an area hospital.
    Friday, June 23
    Citations were issued at 2:59 a.m. to owners of vehicles   parked near the intersection of East Main and North Meridian streets during street cleaning. The vehicles were towed.
    A person at the police station on the 400 block of East Main Street called for medical help at 11:38 a.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A woman on the 800 block of South Walnut Street was arrested at 5:59 p.m. on an outstanding Hennepin County warrant.
    A person near the intersection of Jaymie Court and Scott Lane reported at 11:39 p.m. someone shooting off fireworks. A Belle Plaine man, 62, was cited for possessing and shooting off illegal fireworks.
    Saturday, June 24
    A vehicle with a broken headlight was stopped at 1:04 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 169 and Old Highway 169 Boulevard. The driver, a 22-year-old Minneapolis man, was cited for driving after license revocation.
    Sunday, June 25
    A vehicle with a broken headlight was stopped at 12:12 a.m. near the intersection of Old Highway 169 Boulevard and Highway 169. A St. Louis Park woman, 36, was cited for driving with an expired license and no proof of insurance.
    A person on the 800 block of South Chestnut Street called for medical help at 9:08 a.m. Ambulance staff treated a woman.
    A Wisconsin man, 27, was stopped for speeding near the intersection of Enterprise Drive East and Laredo Street. He was also cited for driving with a suspended license.
    A Waconia man, 55, stopped near the intersection of North Walnut and East Forest streets at 4:55 p.m. for failing to stop for a stop sign was also cited for driving with an expired license.
    A person called police at 5:47 p.m. for help with an inebriated man walking on the street near the intersection of East Church and North Walnut streets. He was unable to care for himself. A friend was located to care for the man until he sobered up.
    At 7:04 p.m., a person on the 600 block of West Main Street called for medical help. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 900 block of  Lacy Court called for medical help at 7:49 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.

    Monday, May 29
    A property-damage crash near the intersection of Highway 169 and Meridian Street was reported at 12:39 p.m. One of the drivers, a 52-year-old Le Sueur woman, was cited for driving with no proof of insurance.
    A man on the 200 block of South Ash Street was arrested at 12:45 p.m. on an outstanding arrest warrant.
    Tuesday, May 30
    Jordan police reported at 9:58 a.m. a man driving south on Highway 169. He was stopped near the intersection of Highway 169 and Meridian Street. The man, a 59-year-old Prior Lake resident, was arrested for second-degree DWI, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and open bottle.
    Wednesday, May 31
    A person on the 1000 block of West State Street reported at 5:42 a.m. items stolen from unlocked vehicles in an unlocked garage. Upon inspection, no items were stolen but the vehicles did appear as though someone went through them.
    Police are investigating a burglary on the 200 block of South Ash Street reported at 10:26 a.m. The loss has yet to be determined.
    A person on the 1000 block of West State Street reported at 11:34 a.m. someone went through an unlocked vehicle overnight. Nothing was taken.
    A North Mankato man was stopped near the intersection of Highway 169 and Belle Plaine Trail at 1:03 p.m. The driver, 36, was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
    A person on the 1000 block of State Street reported at 2:48 p.m. the overnight theft of $14 in change from an unlocked vehicle.
    A person on the 600 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 8:25 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 1000 block of East Enterprise reported at 9:21 p.m. his friend’s bike had been stolen. Police advised the man to have his friend report the theft.
    Thursday, June 1
    A person on the 800 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 7:30 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 600 block of East Park Place reported at 8:24 p.m. accidental damage to property. A windshield had been cracked by a softball. The caller was uncertain when the damage occurred.
    A person on the 200 block of South Ash Street reported at 9:50 a.m. a break-in. Nothing had been taken but a few items had been disturbed.
    A person on the 900 block of Sunrise Lane reported at 10:51 a.m. someone was using her identity to open credit card accounts. No loss reported.
    At 4:10 p.m., a person on the 900 block of South Elm Street called for medical help. Police determined an ambulance was needed. The officer also determined the patient, a 34-year-old New Prague woman, was in possession of prescription medication she obtained illegally. She was cited for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession without a valid prescription.
    Friday, June 2
    A person on the 600 block of West Forest Street called for medical help at 12:08 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Three vehicles were cited at 2:51 a.m. and ordered towed for illegal parking downtown during street cleaning.
    Two Belle Plaine boys, both 17, were cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were parked near the intersection of Oakcrest Trail and West Commerce Drive when police found them at 8:08 a.m.
    A woman found walking near the intersection of Highway 169 and East Main Street at 9:28 a.m. was arrested on outstanding warrants.
    A woman was stopped at 4:34 p.m. near the intersection of East Church and North Chestnut streets. The woman, 23, was cited for driving after license revocation. She walked home.
    A person on the 100 block of North Meridian Street reported at 6:36 p.m. the theft of a stereo from a residence. A 19-year-old Belle Plaine man was located and cited for theft.
    A car vs. deer personal-injury crash near the intersection of Highway 169 and Belle Plaine Trail was reported at 9:28 p.m.
    Saturday, June 3
    Damage to restrooms at Tiger Park was reported 8:15 a.m. Police are investigating.
    Police stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Highway 169 and East Main Street at 3:49 p.m. after the driver, a 38-year-old Shakopee man, committed several violations. He was also cited for driving after license revocation.
    A person on the 1000 block of Prairie Oak Drive called for medical help at 10:46 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Sunday, June 4
    A person on the 800 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 7:20 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person at a business on the 100 block of North Aspen Lane reported at 7:27 a.m. a theft. Someone took items from a locker. Police are investigating.
    A person on the 600 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 1:38 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Police stopped a driver on the 600 block of East Main Street at 6:28 p.m. for a stop sign violation at the intersection and for excessive window tint.

    Monday, May 15
    A Belle Plaine man, 54, was cited for property damage by negligently causing a fire. Police received a report at 10:16 a.m. from a person on the 1000 block of East Enterprise Drive. The report said the man started a fire by tossing a cigarette butt onto a pile of mulch. The action was recorded on camera.
    A vehicle with a cracked windshield was stopped at 2:59 p.m. near the intersection of North Walnut and East Court streets. The driver, a 26-year-old Gaylord man, was wanted on an outstanding felony arrest warrant. The man was also found to be driving with a suspended license and in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
    A person on the 100 block of North Meridian Street called for medical help at 6:14 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Tuesday, May 16
    A person on the 500 block of Scott Circle called for medical help at 2:58 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A police officer saw a man crawling around a grassy area with a flashlight in hand at 9:07 p.m. The man was looking for a lost eyeglass lens. The officer helped him find it.
    Police received a report at 11:39 p.m. of a man running into the street on the 100 block of North Meridian Street. The man was inebriated. He was not from Belle Plaine so there was no one to take care of him. The man was transported to an area hospital.
    Wednesday, May 17
    A person at a business on the 900 block of East Main Street reported at 12:29 p.m. a theft. The total loss is yet to be determined. Police are investigating.
    Thursday, May 18
    A person on the 1300 block of Quail Court called for medical help at 4:14 a.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 900 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 4:41 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 400 block of East State Street called for medical help at 11:34 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Friday, May 19
    The driver of a semi truck stalled near the intersection of Highway 169 and East Main Street was cited at 10:48 a.m. An officer assisted the man with fuel, but the truck remained stalled. The officer ordered a tow for the truck, which the semi driver cancelled. The semi blocked traffic for three hours.
    A person on the 800 block of South Elm Street called for medical help at 2:01 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Saturday, May 20
    A person on the 500 block of East Beaver Street reported at 9:05 p.m. a verbal domestic dispute. While investigating, a 21-year-old man was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited.
    Sunday, May 21
    A person on the 400 block of South Chestnut Street called for medical help at 12:35 a.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A Wisconsin man, 21, was stopped at 1:49 a.m. near the intersection of East Enterprise Drive and Hickory Boulevard for lane violations and cited for driving without a valid Minnesota license.

    Firefighters responded at 6:50 a.m. to Meridian Circle in Belle Plaine Township for “a smell investigation.”
    Sunday, May 21
    Firefighters responded at 2:40 p.m. to a call for medical help on West 250th Street in Blakeley Township. A woman was  not breathing.

    A vehicle was stopped near the intersection of East Enterprise Drive and East South Street at 8:39 a.m. because of a cracked windshield. The driver, a 31-year-old Belle Plaine man, was found to be driving after license revocation. He was cited for the offense.
    A person on the 800 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 5:05 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Wednesday, May 10
    Police assisted sheriff’s deputies at noon with a report of a hit-and-run crash on Highway 169. Police located the second vehicle and helped process the crash information.
    A person on the 300 block of Market Street South called for medical help at 1:50 p.m. A woman was treated on the scene with no need for transport to a hospital.
    Thursday, May 11
    A woman on the 300 block of South Walnut Street was cited for making excessive noise after police were called at 12:01 a.m. Police had warned the woman, 49, the previous day about a city ordinance governing too much noise.
    A Belle Plaine man, 35, was stopped on the 800 block of East Enterprise Drive for driving after license revocation.
    A person on the 200 block of West State Street called for medical help at 11:25 a.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 200 block of West State Street called for medical help at 6:34 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Friday, May 12
    A person on the 200 block of West State Street called for medical help at 12:26 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Three vehicles parked near the intersection of North Meridian and Church Streets were cited at 2:59 a.m. and ordered towed during street cleaning.
    The driver of a vehicle stopped at 11:47 a.m. near the intersection of East Main and Ash Streets was cited for driving without wearing a seat belt. The driver, a 39-year-old Le Center man, was also cited for driving after license revocation.
    A person on the 300 block of East Court Street called for medical help at 12:22 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 600 block of East Elk Street called for medical help. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Saturday, May 13
    A person on the 200 block of West State Street called for medical help at 2:36 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person at a business on the 200 block of South Ash Street reported at 10:04 a.m. a burglary had occurred. The employee found a door had been forced open. The loss was $7,500 cash and computer equipment. Police are investigating.
    A person on the 1000 block of Prairie Oak Drive called for medical help at 4:52 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Sunday, May 14
    A person on the 500 block of East Beaver Street reported at 4 a.m. an assault had occurred. Police are investigating.
    A person near the intersection of Enterprise Drive and Meridian Street South reported at 9:55 a.m. a dog bite. One dog attacked another and an owner was nipped.
