    The week of Jan. 8-14,  Belle Plaine firefighters responded to the following calls for service:

    Monday, Jan. 8
    Firefighters were dispatched at 10:15 p.m. to a house on the 200 block of East Orchard Street. Smoke detectors were sounding.
    At 10:50 p.m., firefighters responded to a call for medical help from a person on the 13000 block of Pony Road in Blakeley Township.
    Thursday, Jan. 11
    Firefighters responded to a report of a house fire on the 18000 block of Kelley Lake Road in San Francisco Township. The fire was limited to the kitchen but the rest of the house sustained smoke damage. Two people were transported to an area hospital.
    Friday, Jan. 12
    Firefighters were dispatched to a fire on the first floor of an apartment building on the 200 block of East Commerce Drive. A laptop computer’s battery exploded. The apartment building was evacuated. There were no injuries reported.
    Saturday, Jan. 13
    Firefighters responded at 9 p.m. to a call for mutual aid for a fire on the 6700 block of Old Highway 169 in St. Lawrence Township.
    Sunday, Jan. 14
    Firefighters responded at 4:50 p.m. to a report of a crash near the intersection of Highway 169 and Johnson Way in Blakeley Township.
    Firefighters were dispatched at 10:50 p.m. to a report of a crash near the intersection of Highway 169 and Belle Plaine Trail. False alarm.

    The week of Jan. 8-14, Belle Plaine police responded to the following selected calls:

    Monday, Jan. 8
    A woman on 800 block of East Orchard Street reported at 12:39 a.m. someone tried to open her front door and enter the house. Police checked the area and did not find anyone.
    A man on the 600 block of West Court Street reported at 5:15 a.m. his son’s friend took his car without permission. The man, a 22-year-old Chaska resident, was found in Glencoe. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant and also charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
    A person came to the police department at 9:58 a.m. and reported violations of court-issued no-contact order and order for protection. Police determined several violations occurred. A Farmington man, 42, was arrested for the violations.
    Police witnessed a Belle woman, 35, pull forward through the crosswalk at the intersection of East Main and North Meridian streets at 3:24 p.m., nearly hitting a pedestrian. The woman was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian and driving after license revocation. She was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
    A woman on the 800 block of East Orchard Street reported at 4:14 p.m. her dog was attacked by another dog at the dog park. The owner of the other dog left the area without exchanging information. Police were unable to locate the owner of the offending canine. The woman’s dog was taken to a local veterinarian for treatment.
    Tuesday, Jan. 9
    A vehicle was stopped near the intersection of North Walnut and East Main streets at 11:49 a.m. The driver of the vehicle, a 35-year-old Belle Plaine man, was cited for texting and driving.
    A person requested at 10:27 p.m. a welfare check on a man on the 300 block of East Enterprise Drive. A man was found too inebriated to care for himself. He was placed on a 72-hour welfare hold and transported to an area hospital.
    Wednesday, Jan. 10
    At 10:29 p.m., an officer observed several illegal vehicle modifications on a truck. The officer stopped the truck near the intersection of Highway 169 and East Main Street. The driver, a 20-year-old Belle Plaine man, was cited for expired registration, no rear lights, illegal bumper height, and fender extensions.
    Thursday, Jan. 11
    The driver of a tow truck reported at 9:20 a.m. the owner of a truck he was trying to repossess on the 100 block of South Willow Street yelled at him. He drove off in the truck, hitting the tow truck in the process.
    An officer was dispatched at 10:44 a.m. to a school on the 200 block of South Market Street to investigate a threat report. One person was cited for disorderly conduct.
    A woman stopped at the police department at 2:44 p.m. to report a minor property-damage crash. The owner of the vehicle didn’t want to exchange information.
    A student at a school on the 200 block of South Market Street reported at 4:31 p.m. the theft of an item from a backpack.
    A person on the 1100 block of Farmers Lane called for medical help at 8:11 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Police responded at 8:47 p.m. to a 911 hang-up call at a house on the 100 block of South Meridian Street. A woman, 32, was cited for misdemeanor domestic assault. A 31-year-old man was arrested for felony domestic assault based on prior convictions.
    Friday, Dec. 12
    The driver of a vehicle who was stopped near the intersection of North Meridian and West Main streets at 7:54 a.m. was cited for traveling with windows frosted over, except for a small spot on the windshield. The man, 40, was also cited for driving after license revocation.
    By 10:19 a.m., police had towed one vehicle for illegal parking during snow removal.
    Police responded at 3:01 p.m. to a report of a domestic disturbance on the 700 block of Shannon Lane. A girl was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
    At 10:06 p.m., a boy on the 200 block of South Market Street was cited for failing to drive with due care after he hit a parked vehicle. The car’s windshield was frosted over.
    Saturday, Jan. 13
    A man who was stopped near the intersection of Highway 169 and East Main Street at 2:41 a.m. for lane violations and speeding was cited for the violations and arrested for fourth-degree DWI.
    At 11:07 a.m., a person on the 200 block of South Market Street called for medical help. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A woman, 28, was stopped near the intersection of East Commerce Drive and Laredo Street. She was cited for driving after license revocation.
    Sunday, Jan. 14
    A vehicle was stopped at 2:23 a.m. near the intersection of East Main and Ash streets because the vehicle did not have working license plate lights. The driver and his girlfriend were on their way to the hospital because she was in labor. They were released with a verbal warning.
    Police were dispatched at 4:16 p.m. to a report of a disturbance on the 600 block of West Main Street. A man needed medical help. He was transported to an area hospital.
    At 7:38 p.m., a person on the 100 block of North Meridian Street called for medical help. A man was transported to an area hospital.

    The week of Jan. 1-7, Belle Plaine police responded to the following selected calls:

    Monday, Jan. 1
    A person on the 300 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 2:52 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    The driver of a vehicle was stopped near the intersection of West Commerce Drive and South Meridian Street at 11:26 a.m. and cited for driving after license revocation.
    A person on the 800 block of West Prairie Street called for medical help at 4:38 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    An officer observed the driver of a vehicle flick a cigarette out the window. The vehicle was stopped near the intersection of Enterprise Drive and West Commerce Drive at 5:56 p.m. The driver, a 40-year-old Belle Plaine man, was cited for littering.
    At 10:37 p.m., two residents on the 700 block of West Forest Street sought help from police to quit their drug habits. Officers were allowed to search the house. The residents turned over all drugs and related paraphernalia. Both were cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both residents were placed on a safety hold at an area hospital as they were coming off a methamphetamine high.
    Tuesday, Jan. 2
    A person on the 1000 block of Park Lane called for medical help at 5:59 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Police and firefighters responded at 4:44 p.m. to fire and water flow alarms at a building on the 200 block of West State Street. A burst pipe in the garage area caused the alarms. On-site maintenance staff was addressing the break when police and firefighters arrived.
    Wednesday, Jan. 3
    A property-damage crash near the intersection of Old Highway 169 Boulevard and East State Street was reported at 6:56 p.m. The driver lost control of the vehicle on a bend on the road and hit another vehicle. The driver was cited for failing to drive with due care.
    A woman on the 800 block of Orchard Circle reported at 7:03 p.m. the theft of a package UPS delivered to her house. UPS said the package was delivered and the woman was home all day. Police are investigating.
    Thursday, Jan. 4
    An injury crash near the intersection of Highway 169 and Blakeley Trail was reported at 3:10 a.m.
    A person on the 700 block of West Prairie Street reported at 11:08 a.m. receiving a suspicious letter. Because of its content and source, police investigated the matter. While nothing criminal occurred, the officer advised the person to obtain an order for protection.
    A person on the 200 block of West State Street reported at 12:26 p.m. a scam involving a credit card debt from a deceased person.
    At 1:05 p.m., a man was seen at the door of a house on the 700 block of West Court Street. A court-issued order for protection prohibits the man, a 32-year-old Belle Plaine resident, from being at the house. The man fled before police arrived. He will be charged with violating the terms of an OFP, a gross-misdemeanor.
    A 36-year-old Chaska woman driving on the 100 block of East Church Street at 8:04 p.m. was cited for inoperable taillights and driving after license revocation.
    Friday, Jan. 5
    A person on the 700 block of South Elm Street reported his ex-wife broke a locked door while visiting the house. The woman, a 22-year-old Sleepy Eye, Minn. resident, was cited for property damage.
    Saturday, Jan. 6
    A 29-year-old Belle Plaine man was stopped near the intersection of West Main and North Willow streets at 8:07 a.m. and  cited for driving with an expired license.
    Sunday, Jan. 7
    A person on the 900 block of Sunrise Lane called for medical help at 12:56 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 200 block of West State Street called for medical help at 9:47 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.

    Monday, Dec. 25
    Firefighters responded at 9 a.m. to a call for medical help from a person on Woodridge Drive. A man was deceased, apparently from natural causes.
    Firefighters responded at 5:15 a.m. to a call for medical help from a person on the 9000 block of West 270th Street in Belle Plaine Township.
    Friday, Dec. 29
    Firefighters responded to a conveyer belt fire call at Sibley Aggregate on the 2000 block of 295th Avenue in Faxon Township. The fire was out when they arrived.
    Monday, Dec. 31
    Firefighters responded at 12:15 a.m. to a fire alarm on the 100 block of North Meridian Street. The call was the result of faulty fire alarms.
    At 2:10 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of a leaking propane tank at a residence on Highway 19 in Derrynane Township. The odor was from a flawed septic system.

    Monday Dec. 25
    An officer on patrol at the boat launch at 3:30 a.m. noticed illegal dumping of several metal panels on the ground. The officer was unable to determine a source of the panels.
    A person on Woodridge Drive called for medical help at 9 a.m. A man was deceased, apparently from natural causes.
    Tuesday, Dec. 26
    A person on the 200 block of East Century Street called at 2:37 a.m. for medical help. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A woman on the 100 block of Sunset Drive reported at 9:52 a.m. someone took items from her home.
    A person on the 500 block of South Maple Street called for medical help at 1:18 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A property-damage crash on the 1000 block of East Enterprise Drive was reported at 5:02 p.m. One vehicle was backed into another.
    Police were notified at 11:04 p.m. of a boy walking along the 900 block of Deer Creek Parkway. The lad said he was looking for a friend’s house. He was cited for a curfew violation and sent home. His parents were notified.
    Wednesday, Dec. 27
    Police performed a compliance check at the nine licensed tobacco vendors in Belle Plaine. All nine appropriately sought proper age verification from the supervised underage buyer.
    A person on the 100 block of East Church Street reported at 1:19 p.m. the theft of $700 in cash from a lock box at a rental unit.
    A person on the 300 block of Shea Street reported at 1:44 p.m. the theft of mailed packages from her doorstep. Police are investigating.
    A person on the 600 block of West Main Street reported at 5:49 p.m. a case of possible fraud. A family member may be deceptively using money intended for another person’s health care. Police are investigating.
    Thursday, Dec. 28
    A person on the 200 block of West State Street called for medical help at 5:02 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A man came to the police department at 9:18 a.m. to file a fraud report. The credit card company was working with him so he was not out any money. The man needed a police report for his records.
    A property-damage crash near the intersection of Highway 169 and Meridian Street was reported at 1:07 p.m. The driver of a vehicle lost control on a slick spot of road, spun out of control and struck another vehicle.
    A person on the 1100 block of Scott Lane called for medical help at 2:36 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Friday, Dec. 29
    A person on the 200 block of South Meridian Street called for medical help at 9:08 a.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    After meeting with a resident at 3:57 p.m. and discussing building policies, police issued a no-trespassing order preventing a person from entering a building on the 800 block of West Main Street.
    Saturday, Dec. 30
    A person on the 500 block of East Church Street asked an officer at 10:07 a.m. to unlock a vehicle. The officer determined the person’s license was revoked. The request to open the vehicle was declined.
    Sunday, Dec. 31
    A woman on the 1100 block of Scott Lane reported at 10:22 a.m. a possible stalking issue. After initial investigation, the case was sent to the county attorney’s office for review of possible charges.
    A woman on the 800 block of West Prairie Street called for medical help at 10:59 a.m. She found her mother had passed away overnight. Police believe her passing appears to be from natural causes.
    A person on the 900 block of South Elm Street called for medical help at 9:31 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A Buffalo man was stopped near the intersection of North Walnut and East Forest streets at 11:30 p.m. for a speeding violation. Police determined the man, 18, had marijuana in the vehicle. He was cited for speeding, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and forfeited $145 in cash.

    Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of West State Street at 1:08 p.m. to find a man wanted on an outstanding felony arrest warrant. They did not locate the man.
    A person on the 200 block of South Market Street called for medical help at 1:57 p.m. The child’s parents transported the student to an area hospital.
    A person on the 700 block of Green Acres Court reported a domestic disturbance at 8:26 p.m. A man, 42, was later arrested for felony domestic assault.
    Tuesday, Dec. 12
    A person on the 200 block of West State Street called for medical help at 1:14 a.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    At 1:40 p.m., a property owner on the 100 block of South Cedar Street was cited, after repeated attempts to work with him for failing to comply with the housing-for-rent ordinance.
    Wednesday, Dec. 13
    A person on the 200 block of East Orchard Street reported at 4:54 p.m. $5,000 of fraudulent charges on his credit card. The man is working with his credit card company.
    A person on the 1000 block of Creekview Lane called for medical help at 10:57 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.

    A person on the 300 block of East Enterprise Drive called at 8:40 a.m. for medical help. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 200 block of South Market Avenue called for medical help at 12:25 p.m. A girl was transported to an area hospital.
    Friday, Dec. 15
    A person on the 300 block of South Elm Street reported at 8:41 a.m. someone stole her outgoing mail.
    A person on the 1100 block of West Commerce Drive was cited at 9:44 a.m. for drawing on school property with a pen.
    Saturday, Dec. 16
    Police responded at 6:42 p.m. to a report of a child on the 800 block of East State Street bitten by a dog. Critter Getters took the dog for observation during the investigation.
    Sunday, Dec. 17
    A Belle Plaine woman on the 100 block of East Main Street, outside an establishment with a beverage in hand, was cited at 12:53 a.m. for a liquor violation.
    A Burnsville woman, 31, was stopped near the intersection of East Main and South Elm streets at 12:14 p.m. for driving violations. She was cited for speeding, driving after license revocation and arrested for fourth-degree DWI.
    A person on the 300 block of East State Street called for medical help at 11:28 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 900 block of Prairie Oak Drive called for medical help at 12:14 p.m. A woman was found in a vehicle with no pulse. She was deceased by what police say appear to be natural causes.
    At 7:40 p.m., a person on the 100 block of South Market Street reported a domestic disturbance. A woman claimed a man struck her. The man was jailed for domestic assault.

    Firefighters responded at 6:15 p.m. to a report of a burning power line pole on the 9000 block of Old Highway 169 in St. Lawrence Township.
    Tuesday, Dec. 5
    Firefighters were dispatched at 12:15 a.m. to a report of a semi in the ditch on Highway 169 south of Meridian Street. It was leaking diesel fuel.
    Firefighters responded at 12:40 a.m. to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 169 in Blakeley Township.
    At 5:50 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of a rollover crash on Highway 169 in St. Lawrence Township.
    Firefighters were dispatched at 8:15 p.m. to the 200 block of South Walnut Street for a carbon monoxide alarm.
    Friday, Dec. 8
    Firefighters responded at 11:30 a.m. to a call for medical help on the 200 block of East Main Street.
    At 4:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of leaking propane on the 8000 block of 195th Street in St. Lawrence Township.

    Monday, Dec. 4
    A person on the 600 block of West Prairie Street called for medical help at 10 a.m. A woman had fallen. She was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 400 block of East Court Street called for medical help at 1:44 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A man came to the police station at 3:25 to report possible stolen mail. There are no known suspects.
    Tuesday, Dec. 5
    Police responded at 12:07 a.m. to a report of a semi in a ditch near the intersection of Highway 169 and South Meridian Street. The truck’s fuel tank was leaking diesel fuel.
    A rollover property-damage crash near the intersection of Highway 169 and Old Highway 169 Boulevard was reported at 5:51 a.m.
    Police and firefighters responded at 8:07 a.m. to a fire alarm at a business on the 300 block of South Walnut Street. The call was a false alarm caused by contractors cutting concrete.
    A vehicle stalled in the intersection of East Main and South Meridian streets at 9:59 a.m. drew the attention of police. The driver, a 46-year-old Montgomery woman, was cited for driving with a revoked license.
    A person on the 1000 block of Creekview Lane called for medical help at 12:59 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Officers executed a search warrant in Shakopee at 3:44 p.m. The search was part of an investigation of a burglary in Belle Plaine.
    A person on the 100 block of South Linden Street called for medical help at 5:35 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Wednesday, Dec. 6
    A person at a business on the 1000 block of East Enterprise Drive called police for assistance at 12:17 a.m. The person was inadvertently locked inside the building and needed help getting out without setting off the alarm.
    Thursday, Dec. 7
    Police responded at 5:11 a.m. when a person on the 200 block of West State Street activated a medical alarm. False alarm.
    Friday, Dec. 8
    A person on the 900 block of Lacy Court reported at 3:07 a.m. a disturbance. Police determined a domestic assault had occurred. A Belle Plaine man, 23, was taken into custody.
    A Le Sueur man, 26, was stopped at 11:16 a.m. on the 1000 block of East Enterprise Drive. The man was cited for driving after license revocation.
    A person on the 200 block of East Main Street called for medical help at 11:24 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Saturday, Dec. 9
    A woman on the 100 block of South Linden Street called for medical help at 4:45 a.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A vehicle was stopped at 10:54 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 169 and Johnson Way. The driver, a 26-year-old Chaska man, was cited for driving after license revocation.
    Sunday, Dec. 10
    An employee at a business on the 300 block of East Enterprise Drive reported at 2:14 a.m. an inebriated person refusing to leave the building. The officer persuaded him to leave and gave the man a ride home.
    A property-damage crash on the 100 block of North Aspen Lane was reported at 8:12 p.m. A box truck backed into a smaller vehicle.
    A person on the 800 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 10:30 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.

    Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a truck in the ditch on northbound Highway 169 in St. Lawrence Township. There were no injuries associated with the crash.

    The week of Nov. 27-Dec. 3, Belle Plaine police responded to the following selected calls:

    Monday, Nov. 27
    A person on the 400 block of North Cherry Street called for medical help at 8:14 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 300 block of South Walnut Street called for medical help at 11:52 a.m. An officer helped the victim. No transport was needed.
    At 5:42 p.m., an officer received a report from the Glencoe Police Department about a fraud case involving two local businesses. Checks stolen from someone in Glencoe were cashed in Belle Plaine. Police are investigating.
    Tuesday, Nov. 28
    A vehicle with no license plate was stopped at 12:52 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 169 and South Meridian Street. The driver, a 29-year-old Minneapolis woman, was cited for driving with a suspended license.
    A report of an assault was filed at 1:40 a.m. at a hotel on the 300 block of East Enterprise Drive. Police said an inebriated guest assaulted a member of the hotel staff. The employee was checked over by the ambulance staff. A no-trespassing warning was issued to the guest who was transported from the hotel by sober friends.
    A vehicle with several equipment violations was stopped at 2:32 p.m. near the intersection of East Main Street and North Aspen Lane. The driver, a 26-year-old Arlington man, had several different pieces of identification. Because the man did not speak English, he was ID’d via fingerprints. He was cited for driving without a valid Minnesota license, illegal window tint, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
    An employee from a gas station on the 1000 block of East Enterprise Drive notified police at 3:30 p.m. a man was trying to pump gasoline after paying with counterfeit cash. The man left before police arrived. Police know the man and they are investigating.
    Wednesday, Nov. 29
    A person on the 800 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 1:38 a.m.  A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 800 block of South Walnut Street called for medical help at 8:24 a.m.  Parents of a child transported the youngster to an area hospital.
    A person on the 900 block of Deer Creek Parkway reported at 5:21 p.m. someone had cut his Christmas lights. The person is not certain when the lights were cut or a possible suspect.
    A 26-year-old Zumbrota, Minn. man was stopped at 8:28 p.m. near the intersection of East Main Street and North Aspen Lane for speeding and was cited for driving after license revocation.
    A person on the 300 block of South Walnut Street called for medical help at 8:41 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    Thursday, Nov. 30
    An officer observed at 8:40 a.m. a man known to be wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant walking near the intersection of West Forest and North Cherry streets. The man was taken into custody.
    A woman was stopped at 11:06 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 169 and South Meridian Street for multiple driving complaints. The woman, a 46-year-old Belle Plaine resident, was cited for lane violations and driving after license cancellation. She was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.
    Friday, Dec. 1
    An officer assisted another department at 1:06 p.m. executing  a search warrant at a house on 100 block of South Meridian Street.
    A person on the 100 block of South Meridian Street called for medical help at 1:15 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    An officer was dispatched to the junior-senior high school at 1:35 p.m. to assist with a disorderly student. The student was taken home to parents.
    After receiving a report at 3:32 p.m. of a fight near the intersection of North Eagle and West Main streets, four children were cited for disorderly conduct.
    Saturday, Dec. 2
    An officer observed a vehicle drive past him near the intersection of South Meridian and East Prairie streets at 1:06 a.m. The vehicle was traveling 41 mph in a 30 mph zone.     A Belle Plaine police officer working a special traffic detail stopped a Crystal man, 25, at 2:13 a.m. in Shakopee, near the intersection of Highway 169 and South Marschall Road. The man was cited for failing to drive with due care and arrested for DWI.
    A person on the 300 block of North Eagle Street called for medical help at 11:27 a.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 900 block of Park Lane called for medical help at 7:15 p.m. A man’s wife transported him to an area hospital.
    A person on the 900 block of South Meridian Street called for medical help at 9:30 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.

    Friday, Nov. 24
    Firefighters responded at 11:20 a.m. to a report of a grass fire on the 9000 block of West 250th Street in Belle Plaine Township.
    At 1:10 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a property-damage crash on the 800 block of East Enterprise Drive. They were cancelled en route.
    Saturday, Nov. 25
    Firefighters responded at 4:45 a.m. to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 169 just north of East Main Street. One person was transported to an area hospital.
    At 5:15 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of a carbon monoxide alarm on the 27000 block of Raven Road in Blakeley Township.
    Firefighters responded at 5:19 a.m. to a report of a brush fire on the 19000 block of Whitetail Lane in Faxon Township.
    Firefighters were dispatched at 11:50 a.m. to a call for mutual aid from Cologne firefighters fighting a barn fire in Benton Township.
    Sunday, Nov. 26
    Firefighters responded at 10:12 a.m. to investigate smells on the 22000 block of Goshen Boulevard.
    At 6:10 a.m., firefighters responded to a call for medical help on the 20000 block of Park Boulevard in St. Lawrence Township. A woman was transported to an area hospital.

    Monday, Nov. 20
    A person near the intersection of West Court and North Eagle streets called for medical help at 2:20 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Police determined at 3:12 p.m. a woman at the police department on another matter was the subject of an arrest warrant. She was taken into custody.
    A man on the 600 block of South Elm Street was arrested at 8:07 p.m. on an outstanding warrant.
    A person on the 200 block of South Elk Street called for medical help at 11:46 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Tuesday, Nov. 21
    A man on the 200 block of West State Street reported at 4:56 p.m. he was assaulted by unknown people while walking his dog. Police are investigating.
    Wednesday, Nov. 22
    A man on the 500 block of Beaver Street reported at 10:36 a.m. his storage building had been broken into. Many of the boats stored there had items taken from them or were tampered with. Police are investigating.
    Thursday, Nov. 23
    A 25-year-old Wisconsin man was stopped at 2:12 a.m. for driving through a stop sign at the intersection of South Chestnut and East Prairie streets. The officer detected the smell of alcohol. The man was arrested for fourth-degree DWI.
    Friday, Nov. 24
    A property-damage crash – car vs. pole -- on the 800 block of East Enterprise Drive was reported at 1:07 p.m.
    Police stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Highway 169 and 173rd Street for lane violations. A Belle Plaine woman, 32, was cited for driving with a suspended license.
    Saturday, Nov. 25
    A vehicle was stopped at 12:05 a.m. near the intersection of highways 169 and 282 for illegal lights on the vehicle and lane violations. The driver, an 18-year-old Bloomington man,  was also cited for driving after license revocation.
    Police assisted a Scott County sheriff’s deputy at 4:42 a.m. with a single-vehicle rollover crash near the intersection of Highway 169 and Stoppelmann Boulevard. A Belle Plaine woman, 62, swerved and went off the road. She was transported to an area hospital.
    A man stopped at the police office at 11:19 a.m. to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant.
    Two 25-year-old men on the 100 block of North Meridian Street, one from Belle Plaine and the other from Hamburg, were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
    A man on the 100 block of East Church Street reported at 3:05 p.m. a woman was using his credit card without permission. Police are investigating.
    A person on the 800 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 6:56 p.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A South Dakota man, 20, was stopped near the intersection of Highway 169 and South Ash Street for speeding. He was also cited for driving with a suspended license.
    Sunday, Nov. 26
    Police performed a welfare check on a Jordan man, 23, who passed out at a business on the 200 block of North Meridian Street. The man admitted to having a meth pipe and marijuana in his coat. He was arrested for fifth-degree drug possession and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
    A person on the 1000 block of South Chestnut Street called for medical help at 7:59 a.m. His family transported a man to an area hospital.
    Police stopped a Belle Plaine man, 30, known to be driving without a license near the intersection of West Main and North Eagle streets at 8:54 p.m. He was also cited for driving with inoperable rear lights.
    A person on the 500 block of Scott Circle called for medical help at 8:52 a.m. The man was not transported. His family will care for him.

    At 11:05 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a call for medical help from a person on the 9000 block of Carver County Road 52.

    Police stopped a 20-year-old Shakopee man at 2:31 a.m. on Highway 169. He was cited for driving without a license.
    A child on the 200 block of South Eagle Street was cited at 10:30 a.m. for using tobacco.
    A person on the 200 block of South Meridian Street reported at 11:54 a.m. the theft of a water heater from a home in foreclosure.
    A person on the 800 block of East Main Street called for medical help at 5:06 p.m. A man was sick. He declined transport to an area hospital. His wife gave him a ride home.
    Tuesday, Nov. 7
    A person on the 800 block of East Commerce Drive reported at 5:07 p.m. the theft of a snowblower. It was taken from a locked storage unit. The lock was forcibly removed and a new one put in its place. The loss is valued at $750. Police are investigating.
    A property-damage crash – car vs. deer -- near the intersection of Highway 169 and East Main Street was reported at 5:34 p.m. Police assisted a state trooper.
    Wednesday, Nov. 8
    A person on the 500 block of West Church Street reported at 10:24 a.m. graffiti painted on the driveway. The property owner said he would try and clean the graffiti from the driveway himself. No investigation is needed.
    A person on the 500 block of East Commerce Drive reported at 4:35 p.m. the overnight theft of scrap metal from behind his building.
    A person on the 500 block of East Main Street called for medical help at 4:58 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A woman on the 400 block of South Chestnut Street reported at 6:20 p.m. an unknown man was looking in her apartment windows. Police investigated the report.
    A person on the 300 block of East Century Street called for medical help at 11:19 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Thursday, Nov. 9
    A person on the 600 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 1:01 a.m. A woman was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 300 block of South Market Street reported at 9:04 a.m. a violation of a restraining order. A Belle Plaine woman, 33, was cited for the offense.
    Police assisted a man on the 200 block of North Meridian Street at 11:37 a.m. after he fell. The man declined medical assistance.
    An officer received arrest warrant information at 6:27 p.m. on a woman on the 200 block of North Meridian Street. The woman was located and taken into custody.
    A person on the 600 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 8:56 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    Friday, Nov. 10
    A person on the 600 block of West Forest Street reported at 2:43 a.m. a runaway child. The child was located in another county and returned home.
    The driver of a vehicle stopped at 1:50 p.m. near the intersection of East Enterprise Drive and Hickory Boulevard was cited for speeding and driving after license revocation. The woman, a 19-year-old Belle Plaine resident, was given a ride home.
    Saturday, Nov. 11
    At 10:46 p.m., an officer observed the driver of a vehicle near the intersection of North Walnut and East Main streets commit several violations. The driver, a 25-year-old Mankato man, was pulled over. He was arrested for third-degree DWI (refusal to test), fourth-degree DWI, driving without a license, lane violations, and driving with an obstructed view.
    Sunday, Nov. 12
    A person on the 900 block of West Main Street called for medical help at 8:44 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
    A person on the 500 block of Chatfield Lane called for medical help at 9:10 p.m. A man was transported to an area hospital.
